Our client, a nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join its Houston office. This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level associate with a strong background in business litigation who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Group, you’ll work alongside experienced partners and associates on complex commercial disputes, contract matters, and high-stakes litigation. You’ll take on substantive responsibilities early, with opportunities to draft briefs, prepare pleadings, conduct discovery, manage client communications, and appear in court.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a variety of business and commercial litigation matters.
• Draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and client meetings.
• Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and clients to deliver high-quality legal solutions.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 3–6 years of litigation experience at a reputable law firm.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience handling commercial and contract disputes preferred.
• Must be admitted to the Texas Bar and in good standing.
• A writing sample is required with application.
• Self-motivated, personable, and a team-oriented professional.
