Prestigious Washington, DC law firm has an open position for a Trademark Paralegal with 2 to 3 years of experience.  This detail-oriented individual would be responsible for assisting senior trademark paralegals with the management of domestic and international trademark portfolios.

Candidates who can make a long-term commitment to the law firm would be ideal.  Requires a Bachelor's degree.  Paralegal certificate from an ABA qualified program preferred.  Excellent writing and communication skills and ability to work in a team environment required. Must have excellent understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Senior Litigation Paralegal   BJA336

Location:  Washington, DC

Exciting opportunity to join a well managed law firm with a family friendly environment as a Senior Litigation Paralegal.  You will be managing large litigation cases and databases, Blue Booking, cite checking, researching and writing legal documents.  Will also organize materials, prepare for trial and prepare for depositions.  This practice includes complex multi-party disputes, in state and federal courts as well as litigation with and against EPA and state agencies.  Work with fungicide companies, pesticide tech and the rodenticide act.  There are no set billable hours. The work is very substantive.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of paralegal experience managing large litigation cases, and a BS degree.

Responsibilities include:  trial prep, case management, e-filings, multi-site document production, using electronic databases, developing and following coding protocols, digesting and preparing written summaries and preparation of supporting materials for depositions and analysis, cite checking and Bluebooking.

Qualifications include 2-6 years of paralegal experience handling large litigation cases.  Bachelor’s degree with a good GPA.  Need knowledge of courts, rules and procedures.  Need to have worked on large cases in a major law firm.  Need Concordance and Summation.

Salary:  $45,000 to $55,000.

Hours:  9:00 to 5:30 plus overtime.  Need flexibility for travel.
