This large, amazing international law firm with a large Patent and Trademark practice seeks an IP (patent and trademark) Docket Specialist to join the firm wide Intellectual Property docket team.
Please be an energetic and positive self-starter who has the desire to offer docketing support to assist the IP Counseling practice and can function in a consistent productive manner with an emphasis on accuracy and mentoring of a junior specialist. You will be responsible for processing domestic and foreign mail, inputting and verifying deadline dates into the docketing system and publishing docket reminders. The position is also responsible for reviewing USPTO filings for completion and accuracy of format, ensuring that proper payment is processed for government fees, providing system search upon specific request, processing filing receipts, reviewing documents and determining docketing dates for Patent Office litigation, monitoring and organizing daily runs to Patent Office, processing abandoned cases and/or redocketing extended dates in litigation, inputting and verifying new applications and other duties as assigned.
Please have 5 to 20 years of foreign and domestic IP docketing experience (any trademark is a plus) in a law firm, type 45 wpm, have knowledge of computerized IP support processes, including software and database systems is a plus.
