An exciting and new urgent care site located in Harker Heights, TX is seeking a Licensed/Certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Certified Nurse Practitioner to work as a staff provider. Provider can be Family Practice or ER trained with preferred experience in urgent care medicine. Responsible for direct patient care in a start up urgent care setting including general pediatric and adult medicine including, but not limited to, Occupational medicine, X-ray evaluation, splinting and suturing.
Responsible for: Supervision of Clinical Staff at facility during shift hours
Responsible to: Medical Director and Assistant Medical Director
Essential Functions:
Provides direct patient care to pediatric and adult population in a busy rural urgent care center.
Primarily responsible for general pediatric and adult outpatient care, basic X-ray evaluation based on condition (chest, fractures, abdomen), suturing, wound care, chronic disease management, minor trauma, occupational medicine, some primary care.
Although not a trauma center or ER, the Provider should be able to stabilize acutely ill patients for transport.
Act as supervising Provider when on-shift.
Participate in community outreach and education.
Minimum qualifications for the position: Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner trained in ER medicine or Family Practice. ACLS, PALS, NALS, ATLS preferred.
Licensure and or certification: Licensure in Texas, No J-1 visas.
Experience: Urgent care experience preferred.
Special knowledge/skills/abilities: Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Working schedule and compensation: Will work an average of 40-45 hour a week in 10 -12 hour shifts. No Call. Rotating weekends and some holidays. Compensation: salaried compensation is $40 to $50 per hour. Full benefits provided including: Medical, Dental, STD, LTD, and 401K, Paid CME, Paid Vacation, Full Malpractice Coverage.

Location: Central New Jersey
General Description: Board Certified Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine physician to act as Medical Director and responsible for growing and developing Urgent Care Center, establishing medical and clinical protocols, maintaining quality care, as well as serving as the on-site Risk Manager in charge of day-to-day Quality Improvement. Also to include any additional duties as noted in the Ambulatory Care Licensing Standards & Regulations Manual.
Compensation and Benefits: Salaried compensation is highly competitive for the region and the specialty. The work week would entail full-time hrs (40 hrs. p/week) and the rate is $85.00 p/hr. for clinical hrs. and an annual medical director stipend of $31,300. Will work an average of 10 hours/week to provide medical direction functions. No Call. Some weekends and holidays. Full Benefits provided including: Medical, Dental, STD, LTD, and 403B, Paid CME, Paid Vacation, Full Malpractice Coverage.

Primarily responsible for medical oversight of general pediatric and adult outpatient care, basic X-ray evaluation based on condition (chest, fractures, abdomen), suturing, wound care, chronic disease management, minor trauma, occupational medicine, some primary care
Provide up to 10 hours/ week in Quality Reviews including medical chart audits and meetings designed for Supervision. Medical Director will review at least 15% of all medical charts for complete and accurate documentation.
As needed and to the best of your ability, act as supervising physician to cover for staff physician (or assure coverage for staff physician) who may be out ill or on vacation.
Participates in educational programs, community events and any marketing efforts as needed.
Minimum Qualifications for the Position: Board Certified Physician trained in ER medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice. ACLS, PALS, NALS, ATLS preferred. Five plus years experience as a physician in an urgent care setting is preferred.
Education and or Training Required: MD or DO. Trained in accredited US residency program.
Licensure and or Certification: Licensure in New Jersey, No J-1 visas.

State of the art and established primary and urgent care facility located in Glen Allen, VA seeks a Board Eligible/Certified Physician to work as a staff physician.
You will supervise clinical staff at the facility during shift hours. You will be primarily responsible for general pediatric and adult outpatient care, basic X-ray evaluation based on condition, suturing, wound care, chronic disease management, minor trauma, occupational medicine and some primary care. Although not a trauma center or ER, you should able to stabilize acutely ill patients for transport.
You must be a Board Eligible/Certified Physician preferably trained in ER medicine, Family Practice or Med-Peds. ACLS, PALS, NALS, ATLS preferred. You must be an MD or DO, trained in an accredited US residency program. Need to be VA Licensed. No J-1 visas please.
They will consider hiring an experienced physician or a resident that has completed their residency program in 2009. You can be a Family Practice or ER trained doctor with preferred experience in urgent care medicine.
No on call hours are required. Some weekends and holidays will be shared between you and the other physician on staff.
